Perinatal Consciousness and Extrasensory Prenatal Communication
After learning about the spiritual, scientific, and philosophical perspectives on Prenatal Consciousness and Prenatal Extrasensory Communication, the time has come to find out if announcements and other manifestations of souls about to incarnate still occur today.

Abstract
-
Exploration of the concept of prenatal consciousness through a literature review, interviews with specialists from the most important lines of thought, and compilation of testimonies.
-
Conducting pioneering research on Near Birth Experiences: Prenatal Extrasensory Communication between the Expectant Mother and the Baby to Be Born.
The participants stated that they were in a different mental state than usual during pregnancy (75%). This Altered State of Consciousness may have enabled Prenatal Communication and other extrasensory experiences, both before and during gestation: dreams (31.4% and 41.93%), messages (in dreams 11.2%, in other forms 23.38%), visions (30.64% and 32.25%), premonitions (29%), and a sense of presence (18.5%); which could corroborate the existence of perinatal consciousness.

Introduction
"Throughout history, humanity has described a significant diversity of metaphysical phenomena related to the process of human life creation, from before conception to after birth, including pregnancy. Among these phenomena are annunciations (in the form of dreams, visions, telepathy, hearing), a sense of presence, and prenatal memories.
Many of these experiences involve communication between both protagonists, the expectant mother (EM) and the unborn baby (UB), and, in light of this possibility, we ask ourselves about the consciousness of the baby in utero and the perceptive capacity of the mother throughout the maternity/birth process."
Consciousness
(Spanish version)
"We have found different uses and discrepancies between the concepts of consciousness and conscience in the sources consulted. To avoid confusion, we will use 'consciousness' here as a synonym for soul or supraconsciousness: the transcendent being. We will use the term 'conscience' as equivalent to self-awareness or self-perception."

Questionnaire
To understand the reality of our existence BEFORE BIRTH, we have directly reached out to mothers, asking them about their perceptions, dreams, and state of consciousness.
Objectives
We set out to explore Prenatal Extrasensory Communication (PEC) in the context of Near-Birth Experiences, as well as provide information that would contribute to the understanding of human existence and complement the data already gathered. We aimed to generate a deep reflection on prenatal consciousness.

Prepared by Raquel Machín and conducted via Google Surveys in November and December 2023. A poster with basic information was designed to accompany the questionnaire and facilitate communication via email for resolving any questions. Both were distributed on social media through direct links to participants' mobile phones (WhatsApp and Telegram) or email.
The participant sample consisted of 84 Spanish-speaking women who completed 124 questionnaires, as each one corresponded to a pregnancy. Women who had been pregnant at any point in their lives were included, regardless of whether their pregnancies reached full term. The ages ranged from 25 to 69 years. The most represented age group was 30 to 64 years (94%).
Structure: Information + Consent + Form
The questionnaire was accessible online from November 25 to December 11, 2023.
The structure and items were created specifically for this study, without any reference, and are based on the author's personal experiences and bibliographic references from the ancient world.
Through these questions, we explored:
-
Pregnancy-related data
-
Whether the person consulted had any type of perception related to their future child before and during pregnancy, as well as during childbirth.
-
What these perceptions were and how frequently they were experienced.
-
The level of emotional/spiritual well-being experienced by the mother-to-be (MG).
-
Whether the perceptions experienced provided reassurance or facilitated the pregnancy/childbirth.
New questionnaire 2025
The research continues. The search for our prenatal existence moves forward.
Objectives 2025
We continue working to generate a deep reflection on prenatal consciousness. We aim to expand the research and reach more people and geographical areas.
The new objective is to compare the results obtained in the first questionnaire and achieve a significant sample that encourages other researchers to delve further into the search for consciousness BEFORE BIRTH.
We have reviewed the initial questionnaire, including new items that reflect the discoveries made since the first one was created and the contributions from the mothers who contacted us. We want to understand the manifestations of the soul it embodies.

We encourage participation in this new research and appreciate all the help in spreading this questionnaire, which we will share on social media and all available platforms.
Information about the 2025 questionnaire
The completion of these questionnaires is voluntary and non-profit. In accordance with the Data Protection Law (Organic Law 7/2021, of May 26), the data provided will be used solely and exclusively in the context of this research. It will allow us to contact you if necessary for the purposes of the study.
The only requirement for completing this questionnaire is having been pregnant at some point, regardless of whether the pregnancy was carried to term or not.
Instructions
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please read the questions carefully, as many of them are repeated with the only difference being the timing of the experiences: before, during, or after pregnancy, during labor or postpartum. In other cases, there are small differences in meaning.
- Please complete one questionnaire for each pregnancy you have had (whether it was a single or multiple birth).
- The questionnaire consists of several sections:
1. Pregnancy information
2. Before pregnancy
3. During pregnancy I
4. During pregnancy II
5. During pregnancy III
6. During labor
7. After pregnancy and labor
8. Effects produced by the experiences
9. Postpartum and early parenting
- Answer each question honestly.
- If you wish, you may leave questions unanswered.
- You may stop filling out the questionnaire at any time.
- If you have any questions, please contact Raquel Machín at raquelmachinantesdenacer@gmail.com
- If you wish to share your experiences with me or tell me about any that I haven't included in the questionnaire, please feel free to write to me. I will be happy to assist you at raquelmachinantesdenacer@gmail.com Raquel Machín
Testimonies
As a complement to the quantitative data provided by the questionnaire, we gathered 15 direct testimonies that offered detailed qualitative information about experiences described by the protagonists of Extrasensory Prenatal Communication (EPC).
This information complemented that provided by the questionnaires and adds nuances that were not captured in the questionnaire items, bringing us closer to the more human, surprising, and beautiful world of the CPE.

Once the thesis was defended, and with the help of social media, the Acércate Radio Podcast, and the YouTube channel, we continued gathering cases to support the preexistence of the soul: cases of Prenatal Extrasensory Communication and Prenatal Memories.
